Spider-Man Overload

ASM

Well, I HAD to post something to push that nasty political pic down a little!

While I don’t want to see Marvel EIC Joe Quesada fired as Blogger Marvel_B0y says will happen in about 2 weeks, I am not happy with OneMoreDay/BrandNewDay. I LIKED the Peter/Mary Jane marriage. Although I am reluctantly enjoying the post Mephisto stories I gotta tell you this 3 issues a month stuff is rather overwhelming -on the budget and to a lesser degree on my time. That’s just a WHOLE LOTTA ASM!

Luke versus SanDisk

This is Luke:

Luke

He is half Rat Terrier and half Papillon.

Luke

He is 9 months old & weighs about 16 pounds. He is also fairly goofy, sweet and somewhat DESTRUCTIVE. This is what happened when he managed to obtain about 8 minutes of alone time with my 4 gig SanDisk Cruzer Micro USB flash drive:

Cruzer

No, it does NOT work anymore. No, I didn’t hurt him.

Cruzer

I yelled some…then bought myself an 8 gig replacement the next day! I just hate it when the dog prompts an upgrade.

Guggenheim at the ‘rama

Newsarama has a pretty good interview with Marc Guggenheim about his upcoming Wolverine arc. Here is a snippet:

I’ve always loved Wolverine, and have always been a huge X-Men fan. So in terms of the “big toys” that Marvel has, Wolverine is very close to the top of the list in terms of characters that I’ve always wanted to write.

The second half of that is that I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed writing the character. Reading a character and experiencing a character is one thing, but writing it is another experience entirely, and I’ve really, really enjoyed writing the character and having the fun of this guy who is, on the surface, very two dimensional, but in reality, and when handled properly, is very three dimensional.
