WTF? WHY people WHY? Why do you keep shooting your smartphone video in the upright portrait position? You’re DOING IT WRONG! I can see the argument for portrait “tall” still photos as it can be argued that photos are mostly viewed on smartphones anymore. And of course the default most natural way to hold your phone is in the up-right portrait manner. But are you making your videos simply to view on your smartphone? I think not. Video ends up being viewed on your computer monitor or your television. Are you spinning your TV in the upright tall position? It’s certainly possible with the right mount/stand but I really doubt this is a thing people do. So just STOP IT PLEASE! If you are going to shoot video turn your phone SIDEWAYS! Please.
