Why is it that so many GREAT covers and fantastic comic-books came out in and around 1979-1982? Part of the reason is the Legendary Dream-Team of John Byrne and Terry Austin. It just doesn’t get any better than this!

That tag line is probably the most notable thing there. It’s become one of the more famous X-Men lines, used repeatedly over the years. Sometimes, it feels like they use it just about every time someone new joins the team.
